Just want to make it clear that I don’t celebrate birthdays or deathdays.  Nonetheless, everyday, is a day close to our Rabb (Sustainer), every reminder need not be wasted.  It has been a year since my Father passed away, which was two weeks after Eid-ul-Fitr last year.  A passing year is an opportunity to make [...]

Would you be happy, if we refunded you, shot [...]

There was a good article in one of the broadsheets, where a black journalist interviewed the BNP leader as neutrally as he [...]

For the moment, I wish share a discourse of Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani (May Allah lenghten his shadow over us). It affected me greatly, and I feel that it would affect you too.  Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani needs no introduction.  From the contemporary Ulamaa, he is considered one of the leading Ulamaa, and accepted as [...]

I know it has been a long time since I last posted.  Just had many things happening in my life. One of the happenings?  Well, my father has been very sick the last few months.  He transferred from this Dunyaa to the Allah SWT on Thursday 16th Shawwal 1429A (Thursday 16th October 2008).

Verily we [...]

Lots of storms recently thrashing the UK.  The pictures look quite devastating.  One picture that made me smile (maybe I shouldn’t have!) was a man who went for a walk, and the gust of wind took him flailing in the air.  Surreal.  Just by chance someone was there with a camera and took the pic!  [...]
